On Day 1 students stay at Kingfisher Bay Resort on K’gari Island and will do a range of resort activities during the day. On Day 2 students will explore the World Heritage-Listed K’gari (Fraser) Island which is recognised as the largest sand island in the world. While exploring K’gari Island on a full day 4WD tour, students will visit Lake MacKenzie, Eli Creek, Maheno Wreck, Central Station and Wanggoolba Creek Rainforest Walk. On Day 3 students explore the north-western side of K’gari by boat: whale-watching with majestic humpback whales in Hervey Bay, kayak tours at the beautiful Wathumba Creek, Banana Boat ride, beach/bushwalk guided tours.
Oceanic Tours incorporates both education and a sense of adventure through a range of exciting, unique experiences. The tours are run by Glen Hogan, a passionate and qualified Education Queensland Teacher.
